Conflicts are as necessary as the salt in the soup. Just as the use of spices is learned, I see the successful handling of conflicts as one of the key competences for leaders, project managers, employees — for people.
The pandemic and the return to a new, hybrid world of work are associated with conflict. What is needed now is a culture of negotiating needs at eye level. I know of no more effective tool than Marshall Rosenberg’s Nonviolent Communication for negotiating differences and resolving conflicts.
